Jes Maharry has had a passion for creating jewelry for as long as she can remember.
She says, “I have always made some sort of adornment. As a child, I used to find feathers, rusty washers, bottle caps, or anything I could remotely use for sculptural pieces of jewelry.” She went on to study illustration and fine art in college, cultivating creativity through art. Over 25 years ago, her love for drawing merged with metal, and her true calling was answered.
Jes MaHarry lives with her husband and three children on her California ranch, verdant with organic gardens and pastures, and home to many varieties of rescued animals. The local flora, fauna, and kaleidoscopic landscapes inform her beautiful creations. Images drawn from her surroundings become whimsical pictographs etched in precious metals, while fanciful beads and colorful gemstones intermingle to reflect nature’s wild abandon.
